About Us

My name is Mary Entrican, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am the owner and services provider of Riverview Counseling and Consulting. I am licensed in California, since 2003 and in Colorado, since 1996. I am a Certified Addictions Specialist in Colorado as well, since 2011.

I have worked in the rural mountain towns of Colorado, Alaska, and Arizona and big city areas of California and Colorado. My clinical experience includes working in group homes for adults and children, residential treatment facilities for children, community mental health centers, home-based services, and 15 years in private practice. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families. My current focus with using EMDR therapy is with adults.

Additionally, I have worked as a clinical supervisor, clinical director, and the owner/president of a private practice. I have provided clinical supervision towards licensing for pre-licensed clinicians over the years.

My specialties include the treatment of complex trauma, addictions, disordered eating, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. I have worked with patients from the ages 3 to 93, assisting in their experience of transformative healing, symptom relief, enhanced functioning, and increased pleasurable experiences in their lives.

I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDR Approved Consultant. I have been practicing EMDR Therapy since being trained in 1999. I am passionate about EMDR Therapy and the healing it facilitates. I utilize IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Ego States Informed EMDR Therapy. Specialized protocols are also utilized in my practice.

My passion extends to clinical supervision as well. I love working with clinicians, whether they are newly graduated from their program or have more experience in providing counseling services. It is extremely satisfying to see a pre-licensed clinician come into their own, feeling more confident and skilled in providing effective counseling services to their clients.
